Cowiche

Located between Yakima and Tieton, the town of Cowiche (actually an “unincorporated place”) boasts orchards and farms that support the Valley’s agricultural richness. The area provides local hiking opportunities such as the Cowiche Canyon hiking trail and Cowiche Canyon Conservancy’s many miles of trails in shrub-steppe landscape, offering panoramic views.

Tieton

Nearby Tieton is a town on the move, having seen tremendous growth over the years and attracted enterprises that make it a tourist destination. The community boasts an artisan business incubator sponsoring exhibits, antique shows and special events right in the middle of town.
